GOD PUNISH DEVIL

[MAIYAKI]

When the songs of sorrow have stolen our voices and our eyes soaked in tears. We were no longer at the mercy of the Lord but that of the autocrats.

They snatched our mandate from us, lied against our founding fathers and jilted the souls of our falling heroes.

Yesterday, they knocked on our gates with some false documents, whereas we never had consent. But today, they now rule us from our own backyard with a slogan of disrespect ; 'By Fire By Force.'

We may lack standard education. But it's never our fault !

Although we may be poor. But paupers ain't dullards !

We did hear about the struggles that claimed the lives of our 'great grand fathers'. We did learn about slavery, imperialism and of course colonization.

Now we feel this trauma is more than enough. Because we,the African people have unanimously resolved not to continue learning about the bitter and brutal reality of racism.

I believe in the African dream ;

We are black and bold !

We are black and strong !

We are black and unique !

We are black and united !

We are black and smart !

Indeed, Black is beautiful.

Blacks ain't devils,God punish devils !
