Letter to all Unilorite - Education

UNILORIN STUDENTS UNION POLITICS, EMIRATES AND THE REST OF US

We have read and i almost lost count...It is almost difficult to get the truth of the matter now as we now have distorted facts...However, basic contents are clear enough to the least intelligent among us.

Fundamental questions includes: what are the issues? Who are those behind the issues? What is/are their demands? Who are the interested parties?....and more!

Along the line, the picture first painted by unknown writers was that of religion: Christian candidate and Christian SubDean...laughable, don't you think so...So it means, former SubDean who happens to be a muslim imposed muslims on us including Eminent, a christian! Attempt was to create religious dichotomy...We are wiser!!

The next was to give us impression that Dr.Alex formulated the electoral guidelines or Students Union compendium and that ISEC members are been coarsed to do the unspeakable...The writer goofed by limiting his/her thought pattern about technology driven society..It is not likely that the writer even attended this university..

The noise about a candidate been screened out or not was orchestrated by politically/ethnic tilted members of the Commission who rushed to post their resignation  intent on social media and the mounted pressure even from *"their palace"* gave clear answer to why the trouble and demand for Animashaun's head was so strong...If ANIMASHAUN is tagged anointed candidate...Then, Mr.Standard should be tagged imposed candidate even with visible incompetence...

When the result was announced,  you could see clearly disappointment in their faces as the expected never come as usual in the past few year of a more tyrannical former SubDean....They gathered in pieces to put up allegations and started fully politics of name calling for the man I will call correct  SubDean(Dr Alex) who for the first time allowed Presidential aspirants to contest without narrowing the equation to just 2 or 3 as it was in their days...I do not expect anything less from a group of people who have raped us openly in Students' Union politics for over 5years.....How many of us will write petition or allegations if the victory was to their side?!! Now they copied everybody except God...They want Mr.ANIMASHAUN dead before inauguration and or, give the popular mandate to *the son of the soil*...There is God ooooo..

I am an unrepentant admirer of current SubDean- Dr.Akanmu Alex...I will call him my hero come what may...very approachable and cool headed...He stopped many things that we will all appreciate later as event unfolds...Please Mr.SubDean...Continue your good works and be courageous in putting records straight...The ultimate Judge, our God who sees every thing will be your guide and watch over you....

Dear Unilorites, our destiny is beyond ethnic colouration or religious tie....let us stop playing the fools game....
